ERAVIKULAM NATIONAL PARK, MUNNAR
One of the major hill stations in Kerala, Munnar is famous for the Eravikulam National Park, where the single largest population of the endangered, endemic Nilgiri Tahr (Hemitragus hylocreus) exists. The highest peak in Kerala viz, the Anamudi- and the adjacent areas form the natural home of the endangered Tahr. Trekking, wildlife watching and photography are permitted in this area.

    From Kochi by road –135 km.
    From Kottayam by road- 148 km.
    Nearest Airport – Kochi – 130 km.
    Nearest Railway station – Aluva – 115 km.
